Are you concerned about (EWM) invading your lake?
Do you want to find out more about methods of treating EWM and other invasive species?
Would you like hear the experiences of other lake organizations when dealing with invasive species?
Do you wonder how the future looks for the DNR grants to lakes?
Are you interested in banding together to share resources and information to keep your lakes clean?
If your answer to any of the above questions is “yes”, you won’t want to miss the EWM Conference sponsored by the Vermillion Lakes Association, the Sand Lakes Management District and the Island City Academy. The conference is scheduled for June 20 at the Cumberland Middle School and runs from 7:25-4:45. It is chock full of expert speakers addressing the above issues, and features representatives from several Lake Associations and Districts who will share their experiences. In addition to a marvelous program, you will have plenty of time to ask questions and share your concerns, as well as treat yourself to lunch and snacks throughout the day.
And to add a bit more incentive to speeding your registration, you can still take advantage of the 20% discount. If your registration is postmarked by June 5, the cost will be $20. After June 5, the cost is $25.
Let us hear from you soon. Show your support for this one-of-a-kind conference which, we hope, can become an annual occurrence. Register now! Be part of the action!
A complete agenda and registration form is attached for your convenience, or if you prefer, check out our website at https://sites.google.com/a/csdmail.com/ewm/ or send an email to David Blumer at dblumerleaps@gmail.com.
